Every setting, explained

One line each, in the order the settings window shows them. Same names on every platform, give or take a word. Platform extras at the end.

Connection

Setting	What it does	Default
`API base URL`	Always `https://www.quantedoptions.com/api` — the `www` matters. `mock` = demo bars, no key, just to see the look.	the live URL

`Options underlying / Source ticker`	Which options underlying to show. `AUTO` reads the chart symbol: ES/MES → SPX, NQ/MNQ → QQQ, RTY/M2K → IWM, YM/MYM → DIA, GC/MGC → GLD.	AUTO
`Price conversion`	How an SPX strike (7725) lands on your ES chart (7746.75). `AUTO` learns the gap from live prices. Leave it.	AUTO
`Book`	Today's / nearest expiry: today's 0DTE expiry, or the nearest expiry when there is none today (the panel says which). All expiries: every listed expiry in one profile.	Today's / nearest expiry

One column of bars per metric, one bar per strike. Positive right of the axis, negative left — always.

Setting	What it does	Default
`Show GEX (gamma) ladder`	Gamma exposure per strike. The main one: big bars are where dealers hedge hardest.	on
`Show CEX (charm) ladder`	Charm: how hedging shifts as time passes.	off
`Show VEX (vanna) ladder`	Vanna: how hedging shifts as volatility moves.	off
`Show DEX (delta) ladder`	Delta exposure per strike.	off
`(all four off)`	No ladder. Use with the heatmap, or when you only want the panel.	—

Setting	What it does	Default
`Bar width (% of chart)`	Longest bar as a share of the chart width. Several ladders each get a column this wide, capped to fit.	10–25 by platform
`Bar thickness cap (px)`	Bars are as tall as the strike spacing allows, up to this. Zoomed in they become hairlines at the exact price.	32
`Ladder position (% across the chart)`	100 = hugging the right edge. Lower slides it left.	100
`Lane headers: distance from the top (px)`	With more than one ladder, moves the GEX / CEX / VEX / DEX titles down so chart text never covers them.	4 (Sierra 22)
`Value labels`	All bars · Major bars (every bar when zoomed in) · Off.	Major bars

`Lane layout (3+ lanes)`	All lanes right stacks the columns on the right. Sandwich: two on the right, the rest in a gutter on the left, price in the middle. Positive right / negative left in every column.	All lanes right

Bands across the chart at the strikes that matter — read the levels without looking at the ladder. Off by default.

`Heatmap`	Which strikes get a band: Off · Nearest + and − node · Top 3 / Top 5 each side · Strikes above 20 % of max · All strikes.	Off
`Heatmap style`	Heat fade: a band that brightens toward the price axis, taller and stronger for bigger strikes. Line: a 1–3 px line.	Heat fade
`Heatmap width`	Full width · Right third · Right half. With the ladder off, bands run to the right edge.	Right third
`Heatmap labels`	Price + value · Price · Value · None, at the axis end of each band.	Price + value
`Heatmap: strikes each side of price`	For above 20 % and All strikes only: how many strikes above and below price to paint — 5, 10, 15, 20 or All.	10

Colours and rendering only — nothing here moves a bar.

`Rounded tips`	Round bar ends.	on

`Gradient`	Bars fade toward the tip.	off

How the data has moved. Each ticked window is a row in the panel; the first one also drives the comparison bars and outlines.
