Install on cTrader
quantedOptions Profile on your cTrader charts. About ten minutes.
Before you start
cTrader desktop, Windows or Mac. One file: qO Profile.algo, an indicator. It fetches the data itself — no extra program, no permission prompt.
Works on US index, gold, silver, oil, Bitcoin and Ether charts under your platform's own names (US 500, US TECH 100, XAUUSD …), plus Brent, Bovespa (Brazil), China H / Hong Kong and Euro Stoxx 50, and the stocks we cover.
One of the platforms you choose with your plan.
Install
Sign in at your Orderflow Plugin page and download
quantedoptions_profile_ctrader.zip. The page lists the platforms on your plan and shows your API key.Unzip it and double-click
qO Profile.algo.cTrader opens and installs it. Or: Algo (older versions: Automate) › Indicators › Import.
Open a chart, click Indicators in the chart toolbar and add qO Profile (under Custom), then OK.
Paste your API key into the box on the chart and click Save.
Saved on this computer — the next chart opens with it. It is never a setting, so it never shows in the chart title.
Drag the chart left once so the ladder sits right of the candles.
cTrader does not let an indicator scroll the chart for you. Or lower Ladder position in the settings.
Connection settings
Same on every platform; only the labels differ a little.
| Setting | Enter |
|---|---|
API key | pasted into the box on the chart — not a setting. To change it: Change the API key = Yes |
Data source | AUTO — from the chart symbol, platform spellings included. Or pick the family by hand |
Price conversion | AUTO |
Book | today's / nearest expiry (0DTE) · all expiries — pick All expiries for Brent and China H / Hong Kong |
Every other setting is one line each on Settings explained.
How to tell it works
A ladder of bars on the right of the chart, one per strike, and a small panel in the bottom-left corner. The panel's first line
names your chart and the expiry — US 500 · 0DTE 10-12 — with the chart's price beside it.
The dot in the panel header: green = fresh, amber = a few minutes old, red = stale. Outside market hours the last data is held and the dot stays green.
Update to a new version
Double-click the new qO Profile.algo and confirm replacing the old one. Your charts keep the indicator and the key.
If it doesn't work
| What you see | What to do |
|---|---|
| The box asks for a key on every chart | Paste it once and click Save; the next chart reads it from this computer. |
| “… is not a covered instrument” | That symbol has no book (forex pairs, most other non-US indices). On a renamed symbol, pick the Data source by hand in the indicator's settings. |
| The ladder sits on top of the candles | Drag the chart left to leave room on the right, or lower Ladder position. |
| Only a few bars, or none, on Brent or China H / Hong Kong | Set Book to All expiries. |
| The panel or label reports HTTP 401 or 403 | Check the key: no spaces at either end. Lost it? Regenerate it on your plugin page and paste the new one. A 403 also happens with an out-of-date plugin file — download the current one. |
| Bars draw at the wrong prices | The chart has no live last price yet (a fresh chart with no ticks, or a symbol the plugin does not recognise). Wait for a tick, or set the underlying by hand. |
| The panel says rate limited | You have more charts open than the key allows across all machines. Close a few, or wait a minute. |
