Strike Profile
Exposure at every strike for the chosen ticker and expiry, built on open interest.
What it shows
A bar per strike for GEX, CEX, VEX, DEX, OI or VOL, horizontal by default, with headline figures NET, FLIP, C WALL and P WALL. With '0DTE only' off, the next three expiries appear as heat columns. Hovering a strike lists Net GEX, Call / Put GEX, Net DEX, and OI, volume and premium for calls and puts. Table puts every listed expiry in a column over every strike, nearest first: each cell is the metric's value for that strike on that expiry, calls and puts netted, and the row under the columns totals each expiry.
What it is built from
Exposure at every strike, with calls counted as positive and puts as negative. Computed from data consolidated across every US options exchange: open interest and volume.
Reading
How to read it
- The longest positive bar is the C WALL; the longest negative bar is the P WALL.
- FLIP is the zero gamma level: the price at which the total gamma, worked out again as if the underlying were there, crosses zero; the crossing nearest the price is shown.
- Net | C/P pulls each bar into its call and put legs; the two legs always add back to the net bar.
- An 'OI updating' tag means today's open interest is still arriving.
- What a number is: GEX is the dollars of delta that change for a 1% move in the underlying; DEX is the dollars of delta held; CEX is the dollars of delta that change as one day passes; VEX is the dollars of delta that change for a one-point rise in implied volatility; OI and VOL are contracts. Each is summed over the open interest at that strike (one contract = 100 shares), calls and puts netted.
- In Table, each expiry column's largest positive and largest negative cell are lit at full colour; every other cell is tinted by its size.
- Colours: positive and negative take the metric's pair from the Style menu (GEX cyan / red by default; DEX, CEX and VEX have their own pairs; OI and VOL use the calls / puts colours). In Table, the full-colour cells with a glow are each column's largest positive and largest negative; in the front column on GEX those are the call wall and the put wall. The faint tint on other cells grows with size on a log scale, and only about the largest fifth of the cells on screen get any; the dashed amber row is the price.
- In Table, hover a cell to see that strike and expiry's GEX, VEX, CEX and DEX, with GEX and DEX split into calls and puts. In Blend it shows each exposure's part of the score; in Confluence, which of the three count as large.
Controls
What each control does
| Control | Options | What it changes |
|---|---|---|
| Chart | Table | Chart, Table | Chart draws bars for the chosen expiry; Table shows every expiry as a column of numbers. |
| Vertical | Horizontal | default Horizontal | Orientation for every Strike Profile on the page. |
| Metric | GEX, CEX, VEX, DEX, OI, VOL; in Table also Blend, Confluence | Which quantity is drawn. |
| Net | C/P | Net, C/P | Splits bars into call and put legs; the headline shows C/P instead of NET. |
| 0DTE only | on / off | Off adds the next expiries as heat columns beside the ladder. |
| Peaks | All, ±, Max (Table only) | All tints every cell by size. ± keeps only each column's largest positive and largest negative lit and fades the rest. Max keeps only each column's single largest cell by size, either sign. |
| Blend | Confluence | Table only | Blend: one score per cell, from −1 to +1, combining GEX, VEX, CEX and DEX. Confluence: marks the cells where at least two of GEX, VEX and CEX are large and point the same way (+2/3, +3/3, −2/3, −3/3). The row under the table shows no total in Blend and the count of marked cells in Confluence. Shown on sessions that carry CEX and VEX. |
| Range | +/-2%, +/-5%, +/-10%, All | Strike window around spot. |

Good to know
- Example: a GEX cell of +$250M means a 1% move in the underlying changes the dollar delta at that strike by about $250 million; the figures abbreviate (K, M, B), OI and VOL print in full.
- A long positive bar marks heavy call open interest near that strike; a long negative bar, heavy put open interest.
- Open interest refreshes overnight and 'holds still through the session' (the product's own tooltip); intraday the bars move with price, time and implied volatility.
- Flip and wall marks are drawn on the GEX metric.
- Sessions before Sep 23, 2026 keep the older flip: where net gamma, added up strike by strike, crosses zero.
